Laura & James - Aswanley

DAMN, THIS WAS FUN!!!

That video was just a wee teaser film from Laura and James’s wedding at Aswanley. If you want to watch the full thing then keep scrolling! But also why not stop along the way and read all about this lovely couple!

I absolutely love filming at Aswanley. It’s a venue that’s close to my heart! Aswanley is actually where I was supposed to get married myself (We ended up getting married up a hill - long story). As you can imagine, being a wedding videographer I’ve seen loooooad of awesome wedding venues so when it came to booking my own wedding there was a huge list of options… But we knew we wanted somewhere super chilled out, rustic and with incredibly friendly folk running the show (and obviously somewhere in the Aberdeenshire countryside) and Aswanley just ticked all of those boxes.

ANYWAAAAAY! I’m waffling!

Let me tell you about Laura and James! These guys have one of my favourite ‘first meeting’ stories ever! You’ll have to watch their wedding film to hear the full story but in short… They kind of met at a roundabout. That classic boy meets girl story where boy nearly crashes into girl before casually eyeing her up through the car window as she nonchalantly drives away in her wee blue Corsa.

Just brilliant!

These little stories are the reason I love being a wedding videographer. Sitting in the edit suite listening to this had me actually laughing out load!

ENJOY…

I met Laura and James at a wedding show in Aberdeen back at the start of 2020 and just knew instantly that I would love to be their wedding videographer. A lovely couple with epic wedding plans?? YES PLEASE!!

It was really lovely to work with such a talented lot of suppliers on this on too!
